K-Synth is an academic spin-off of the University of Naples Federico II.
The company specializes in research, consultancy, and the production of “knowledge,” extracted and analyzed from a diverse range of large datasets using quantitative, statistical, and data science methods.
Its flagship product is Bibliometrix. Developed by Massimo Aria and Corrado Cuccurullo, Bibliometrix is one of the most widely used open-source tools worldwide for Science Mapping & Knowledge Synthesis.

The Department of Economics and Statistics (DiSES) at the University of Naples Federico II coordinates research and training activities in the fields of theoretical and applied economics, finance, and statistical and quantitative disciplines.
